At Bon Air Custom Frames, we are committed to excellence in craftsmanship, material selection, and customer satisfaction. However, due to the nature of custom framing and the variability of natural and specialty materials, we respectfully ask that all clients review and acknowledge the following disclosures:
Many of our mouldings feature natural wood grain, gilding, hand-finishes, or artisan techniques that may result in minor visual variations. These are not defects, but rather intrinsic characteristics of the material or finish, and are considered part of the beauty and uniqueness of handcrafted framing.
Examples may include but not limited to:
Hairline cracks or shifts in gold-leaf
Variations in wood grain or tone
Patina changes over time
Subtle inconsistencies in hand-applied finishes
We do not guarantee absolute uniformity in such materials and cannot offer refunds or replacements for these natural characteristics.
The cost and availability of mouldings, glass, matboards, and backing materials may fluctuate due to manufacturer pricing, supply chain changes, or discontinuation. While we strive to maintain consistent pricing, quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise noted.
Repeat orders using the same moulding or materials may reflect updated pricing.
Bon Air Custom Frames is not responsible for damage to customer-supplied artwork, photographs, textiles, or memorabilia resulting from pre-existing conditions, improper previous handling, or reactions during mounting or framing. We take every professional precaution and use archival methods, but some risks are inherent with certain materials.

When installing artwork on-site, our team will exercise utmost care and professionalism. However, Bon Air Custom Frames is not liable for pre-existing wall damage, wiring hidden behind walls, or structural issues affecting secure installation. Additional fees may apply for challenging surfaces or complex installs.
Due to the personalized nature of custom framing, all orders are final sale and non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has begun.
By placing an order or requesting services with Bon Air Custom Frames, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this Disclosure & Waiver. If you have any questions prior to placing your order, please contact us — we’re happy to help clarify any part of the process.
Once your framing project is completed, we will notify you via email, text, or phone call using the contact information you provided at drop-off.
We kindly ask that all completed orders be picked up within 14 days of this notification. Due to our limited storage space and our desire to minimize the risk of accidental damage, a $10 weekly storage fee will be applied starting on day 15 for any unclaimed orders.
If you require additional time to arrange pickup, please contact us in advance so we can work with you to make an appropriate accommodation.
